Jamy, thank you so much for that review. It was nice to see the photos before and as you get there. We are staying at Nellis Air Force Base so we are already half way there I am told. I work for the Cdn Forces and my groom is American Forces in Utah. I am so looking forward to this wedding out there. It will be something different that is for sure. We are a 8 Aug 08 date so the heat will be incredible. We have our ceremony at 10:00am so we are hoping it won't be so bad. I booked with Classic Vegas Weddings and they had told me about bringing a better shoe to walk in for the photos. They also had a monthy contest and I just won an etxra 20 photos with my package. I am also curious about what he train on the dress looked like after being in the dirt of the red rock I can't wait to see the other review on this place.

It is finally booked. We are getting married on 8/8/8 at the Valley of the Fire with Classic Vegas Weddings @ 2pm. Yes, you all heard me, a desert wedding at 2pm in the mid summer in Las Vegas!!! It will be sweltering out there! I don't think there will be much for makeup, as it would just run off my face from the sweat. It least my dress is spaghetti straps. I may also have my modeling Chihuahua as a witness.

Does anyone have any experiences with this chapel in Las Vegas? We are not staying at a hotel as we can stay on the Military housing at Nellis AFB. Also can anyone recommend a salon to do hair up do and makeup?? Thanks a bunch ladies.

Congratulations. I too are going to get married in Las Vegas. I am really wanting 08 Aug 2008 for the date but not sure exactly if that will work out. I am leaning towards a Valley of the Fire wedding. I am new to this site too and have not figured out how to get as fancy as the others on here yet.

I just joined this forum. My fiance and I were looking a wedding date in Las Vegas on 08.08.08. We are having to move up the wedding date in a big way. I am Canadian, he is American. We have been living apart for just over two years now. I decided enough is enough, one of us has to make the plung and move to the others Country. I thought I could just leave here go move to Utah to be with him until our wedding date. (08.08.0 I am told I can not just go and live with him, frustrating to say the least. I would have no status there in America, couldn't show up at the border with my Uhal of effects and drive into the US. I wouldn't be able to get a bank acct, my son wouldn't be able to attend school, most importantly we wouldn't have medical/dental. So long story short, we are planning on getting married in Dec 07/Jan 08 to make this alot easier. Crazy stuff, to marry someone you have never lived with. I know that is what they did in the good old days but you don't see that to offen these days. It will be just a small wedding him, myself, my son and the three Chihuahuas if they will behave. No honeymoon, no friends just us at the Valley of the Fire outdoors wedding. I love the pictures they are wonderful. Looking forward to starting this new chapter in my life that will bring joy, challenges and new adventures.

No real date set, location I am looking at the Valley of the Fire location. Beautiful pics from there, hard to beat that view.

Hey I am just down the road from you at CFB Comox. We are heading to Las Vegas too. I am looking at the Valley of Fire Wedding. Not sure of the date yet. Somewhere in end of Dec to the beginning of Jan 08. I wanted 08.08.08 but complications marrying an American is causing the move in date. Good luck with everything.
