To all brides to be, We just returned from our magical wedding in Puerto Vallarta. We used Kristin and Michelle from The Dazzling Details, and it more than we could ever imagined. Their name holds truth, in that all the details were.. "Dazzling". Everything was amazing.. then we got out "professional picture" dun, dun, dun.... They are such a dissappointment!!!!!!!!! We advise anyone who is considering Paulina Ulloa to find someone else. My husband and I aren't big "posers", but the whole time we had our pictures... the translator would said.. "do whatever you want".. and "act natural". WTF?? We were not told once how to stand, nor did she give us any direction. I paid for a professional because I thought that is what they do.. pose us "professionally". Our group pictures are juat aweful, our ceremony pictures "amaturish", and our dinner/reception.. well let's just say we are using friends and families' pictures to put in our wedding album. Before you drop a grand on pictures.. I would look elsewhere. I would absolutely recommend the dazzling details, but invest in someone other than Paulina for your "professional" photographs.

1) We love to travel 2) We live in CA, while the rest of our family lives all over the U.S. including: New Mexico, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Lousiana, Las Vegas, Arizona, Missouri, Texas.. need I say more.

I think personalizing makes it that much better. The girls on here think I am crazy b/c I am having a bride Marge and Groom Homer Simpson on my cake, but you know what.. marriage is all about compromise, and since he really doesn't have a say in anything else (chuckle) he can have his simpson cake topper!

Girls, I have been so busy lately, that I have distanced myself from the forum for some time. However, I got my laptop fixed, and I am back on. Now it's reaching midnight and I am having a hard time shutting down the computer. I love this forum. I have learned so much, and look forward to the support and advice up 'til my wedding day. This has been a huge help for my planning, and creation of my wedding. I just wanted to give a shout out to BDW, and say thanks for creating such great place for all the destination brides to get together, and help each other out!! Alright, I was a college athlete, but have had 2 knee surgeries (one was a year ago). I am having a hard time getting back to the gym. I don't have any health issues.. just lazy issues. I work a day job, and I am also a server at night. I need some advice, and some motivation. I have 3 months to go, and I want to lose about 15lbs. I have been eating healthy, but I need to work out to tighten and tone. Should I start getting up, and going to the gym at 5am, or should I go after work at aroun 930pm. Help me. I want to look hot in my bikini!!

I think #3. The BM's are going to hold those flowers for the ceremony, and then who knows what they'll do with them after that... Go for the parasols.

I would have them do a reading. I am not doing anything. My FI's parents are saying a blessing and welcoming speech at the reception, but other than that we are not involving my parents..
