  1. Hi everyone! Just popping in to let you all know that I had my little girl! She was born on Jan 21 at 1:02am. She weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19.5 inches long. We named her Ryleigh Rose! Here are a few pics for you! Hope everyone is doing well!!!
  2. Hi everyone! Just wanted to check in quickly and let you know that IT'S A GIRL!! We're so excited! Hope all the other mommas are doing great!!

Of course, she cautioned us not to go out and buy baby boy stuff yet... but she felt pretty confident that we'll get it confirmed at our 20 week ultrasound. We'll see!

  5. Hi ladies! I thought I'd pop in here and give you all a quick update - I'm pregnant!!! Woohoo! Our due date is January 21, 2010 - which means I'm only days away from entering the 2nd trimester. I'm SUPER excited and can't wait to meet this little one! Hope you're all doing well!
  6. Hi everyone! It's been um, well ENTIRELY too long since I checked in on here and I was thinking about you all - so HI! Hope you're all doing well. Looking forward to spending hours catching up on everything I've been missing!
  7. We had our dinner at Mammee Bay. There were 27 of us and we took up a whole section of the restaurant; we didn't noticed anybody else near us. We were very well taken care of. We did speeches there; the MOH & BM just stood up from where they were sitting and did their thing. No first dance there; there really isn't room for that there. We had our first dance on the beach just after the wedding ceremony (we had the steel drum band; it was perfect!). We also rented out Pacha Disco and went there right after dinner and had another 'first dance' there!
  8. We originally booked Royal but switched to Free when we got to Jamaica. Great idea! Pretty much the same thing as Royal package! The extras weren't that great (for us) - spa stuff, free upgrade (which we got anyway with the free package), I can't even remember what else! I say go for the free package!
  9. Oh Tara, these are just beautiful!!!! You look amazing!
  10. I didn't do makeup, but did both the trial and the wedding day hair there. My trial was great, I loved it. I didn't have any idea what I wanted to do; I just let her do something she thought worked. And it was GREAT! That was my trial; great experience. Showed up for my wedding day hair styling and the girl who did my trial was off that day. They had me written down as having a trial that morning - NOT wedding! Yikes! But all worked out fabulously - they were really great there. Not what my trial was, but I still was totally in love with my hair.
  11. Aw, thanks for the birthday wishes!!!

Did you cry?? I'm afraid I'm going to cry. Yea, we tweaked them a bit too! Surprisingly, I didn't cry! I was so in the moment. And I'm totally a cryer - TOTALLY! Cry at every wedding I go to.
  13. Here are our vows; if it helps (Name), I love you. You are my best friend. Today I give myself to you in marriage. I promise to encourage and inspire you, to laugh with you, and to comfort you in times of sorrow and struggle. I promise to love you in good times and in bad, when life seems easy and when it seems hard, when our love is simple, and when it is an effort. I promise to cherish you, and to always hold you in highest regard. These things I give to you today, and all the days of our life.
  14. We were married by Minister Sheldon. We brought our own vows and he read them perfectly and beautifully!! We were very impressed with him (he does the religious ceremonies) - we added quite a few things and he didn't skip a beat. Not a single error in the ceremony. He rocks!
