Have you been working with Gretel at Del Arco? What has your experience been

Did anyone put a thank you note on the fans? If so what was your wording?

I was originally thinking of using these too - Walmart had a ton during Summer with polka dots and stripes. Last time I was there they were on clearence for about $3.00 each.

I love Villa Del Arco because it is right downtown, the rooms are amazing and the hotel is brand new. it was very important to me to have a somewhat private wedding. being that Villa Del Palmar is the last hotel on medano beach - our ceremony will take place on the sand inbetween Palmar and RIU - there is no one around. Our guest have 3 options of price levels on the hotels since they are all next door to eachother and sister propertites. Del Arco, Palmar and Estancia. We can use all pools, resturants, and grounds. Our cocktail hour will be on the Pirate ship and our reception will be at El Faro which is at the far end of the hotel - it will be closed for a private party and the walls are all glass - perfect view of Lands end and amazing, fun lounge furniture and clay fire pits. Ahhhhhh - I am so excited!!!!

Was that for Villa Del Arco? For our wedding, we are having a Buffet with Beef tenderloin and lobster with 6 hours of open bar we are being charged $202.00 per person. $150 for next year is an amazing price.

Yeah we are being charged $87 pp for 4 hours. You got a deal!

It is ending up being really expensive!!! The bar is what gets you - they charge per person per hour! I was very set on being close to down town and having the ceremony pretty private - that is why I did'nt choose Dreams. Plus I thought the rooms were pretty standard for the price. Del Arco, and Estancia are amazing and you can get some great deals from Private owners!! Let me know if you need any help.

Oh yeah - they have 4 shot glasses inside too!

Just went to Target and in their $1.00 bins - they have orange plastic cocktail shakers! I bought them for our OOT bags. So cute!

Does anyone have a photo of the starfish standing up in a sand box? I need one for the coordinator.

I am also using them as placecards. I ordered the 8/10" ones. i love them, but now am worried about them breaking on the trip down. I think the smaller they are the sturdier, they are! If I were you I would go for the 7"/8", you want to add the ribbon and name tag and have people be able to find them easily.

Anyone who has ordered their paper parasols - what size did you order? It seems like most places have a 28" or a 32"

Those are amazing! You did a great job incorporating all the travel info! I am getting married the weekend before you and I put my RSVP for Oct. 10 - Aghhhhh - that makes me so nervous - I don't know why I did that! Anyway - they are perfect! Congrats!!!!
