Has anyone got married at either, El Dorado Royale or Adventura Spa? Any horry stories? Has anyone been to both? Which is best? Is there any other resorts that we should be looking athuh.gif PLEASE PLEASE HELP smile29.gif

There are between 16 -20 hopefully attending - all adults

Hi and welcome, you sound just like me when I first started planning. Go to the search filed (third from right on the tool bar) and type in El Dorado Royale) we have a couple of brides that are getting married that and have posted a ton of information. I'm not one of them, or else I would answer your questions. This board has been so helpful to me in my planning, just don't be afraide to ask questions.

Ell,

If you have narrowed it down to those two resorts then your doing good. Both resorts have good reputations in regards to weddings. Both resorts are also very different in their style. Dorado has a very rustic mexico look to it while Aventura has a more modernized look. It is really just a matter of which style you like the best. Also I would e-mail both resorts and start getting some information on prices and packages that they offer. Check to see how far away they are from the airport, from the center of town where guests can get their easily if they want a night out. ETC!!!

I would make a list of important things to you. For example

1. Cost

2. look and style

3. Distance from airport/town

4. Beach quality

5. Pools

6. Food quality

etc etc.....

Than do some research and compare the two resorts!

Good luck!

Also, if you wanted to look at some of the additional resorts that have info. on this forum, just navigate to the main page to see all of the "sub-forums" there are. They're organized by location, and then within that by topic. Try clicking on the "Best Destination Wedding Forum" up at the top left of this screen, and you should see what I mean. I hope this helps!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
