OK just as a huge heads up this a STUPID STUPID question. But what exactly are the cups for (obviouly for their yummy drinks) but are they just going to ask the bartender to fill these up instead of regular glasses. I have seen a bunch of water bottles and stuff to and just wondering what the deal was behind it. I love the idea and would love to do them.... just dont know the method behind the madness!

AIs tend to have small cups. Kind of like when all you can eat buffets have small plates. They think it will make you drink less. So if you give your guests a big cup they can make less trips to the bar. It's also fun for them to all look like a team.

Just want to vouch for the durability of writing on these types of cups...When I was in college 10+ years ago (ouch!) my roommates used to decorate/personalize these cups as our drinking cups (I always had soda! hehehe), well, believe it or not, through many different moves, I still have my special 21st birthday cup from them. A little of the paint has come off a tad but 90% of it is still there! So maybe the guests will be able to bring them back on your 10th anniversary celebration too! hehehe

That would be funny. I just wanted them to last the weekend, but now I want to see them 50 years from now full of champagne toasting to our anniversary :)

Hey Morgan,

thanks for the inspiration! I couldn't fit travel mugs into my budget so I got these cups at Target last weekend (50cents each) and bought some rub-ons to put everyone's first initial on their cup. I still want to put a palm tree on the other side but haven't found a rub-on yet. The guys get the white and orange and the girls get the light pink or dark pink.

Sorry pic is so big... can't seem to resize it...also can't get siggy any bigger GRRRRRRRRR

That was almost my old title under my name. After a series of cheap ideas I changed my title to "DIY bride on a budget." My budget is making me creative :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
