Barracuda Bar at Dreams

Anyone happen to know what time they close this bar? I am having casino night on the beach (the terraces were apparently booked for weddings that night), and since Mariana told me it will take place next to Barracuda Bar, I figured that my guests can just go up to the bar and I can skip the food and beverage service charge, so long as it's still open! We're going to start casino night at 7. I figure this allows people to eat at whatever restaurant they want beforehand.

Thanks so much. 10:30 would be perfect. Or even if it is 8, that'll give my friends who really are into drinking, a good hour to get drinks right there. And if they want more, I assume there's an open bar somewhere inside. That'll save us the $25pp charge and we can apply that to something else. We were thinking about paying for our guests' airport transfers.

I'm guessing there's a per person charge for the casino night function.. that would cover drinks as well.

It was like that when I was there in August. Not sure if this changes seasonally, but it closed at 8pm and the lobby bar stayed open.

I'm pretty sure it's just $800 for the casino night set up and the dealers because Mariana quoted me that price and then asked me if I wanted to add food/drink service for the extra per person fee.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
