I am using them. I don't really have any real experience thus far, but here are my thoughts:

Martha is really nice and her work is beautiful (from the stuff I have seen)

She can be a little slow with communication, but it hasn't caused any problems from me

They are expensive. I am going with them because I have a florist in the family and beautiful flowers are very important to me, but there are much cheaper options.

I didn't use Mazarte but we did work initially with them to receive a quote. I don't remember if we ever received a quote, or I would post for you. But I was very impressed with Martha's communications (especially since Elena Damy wouldn't even reply to us or call us back), and I thought their portfolio was very nice.

Be sure to post review and pictures if you go with Mazarte as brides are always looking for new vendors around here!

Apparently I got lucky since both, Elena Damy and Mazarte answer back, but their prices are out of the question!! $180 bucks for a simple roses bouquet!!! When I finally decided I needed a WC, he told me to try a local store in downtown San Jose, "Rayen" with Alejandro. Her wife does all the designing and I just love her!!! Hi I saw that you're getting married at Dreams I was looking to get married too but I'm not sure about the florist they use. I believe the prices the hotel gave me where too expensive. How are Mazarte's prices? What are you quoting? Thanks in advance!!

I've been communicating with Martha over the past couple of months.

She has been nothing but HELPFUL and responsive getting back to me with my zillions of questions.

I'm looking at somewhere between $1500-$2000 for a bouquet, boutonierre, 2 huge ceremony arrangments and 4 reception arrangements.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
