Question for all of you dreams brides

Recommended Posts

I am trying to decide between the three packages that dreams offers for weddings. Did most of you choose a package, or did you get the minimum package and then do everything else on your own?

I just can't for the life of me figure out which one would be best for us. I've been looking at what's different about each one and the costs and I honestly think that the differences in price don't seem that bad, so I was going to go with the most expensive one, because it includes either the trio or mariachi and obviously a bunch of other stuff.

I posted the three choices below, maybe that will help. I'll stop rambling now!

Great question Jill, not that I have an anwser for it, but I was thinking the same exact thing when I was looking at my resorts wedding packages. I have no clue wich one to pick.

Also, is it possible to NOT pick any package and just customize you very own from scratch?

Very confusing, I'm eager to see what the Dreams brides have to say about this.

Although we are not getting married in Cancun we went the package route too….i chose the package that offered the beach we wanted and added additional photos and videography….but we did not choose the dinner portion b.c. the party will be small we are just going to a restaurant…now if I had to choose one of yours I would choose Dreams of Love Package…..but all of the packages you listed offer a lot!

the dreams of love package was my original choice, but I really want the mariachi or the trio, so with the cost of that added in, it's almost the same as the ultimate package, which has a couple of other additions as well. Decisions, decisions!

I wasn't originally going to do the dinner either, just a cocktail hour and then go to dinner, but when I figured out the price of the cocktail hour, it was going to be almost just as much as the package that included dinner, so I figured why not just do that. I don't know, I'm so awful with making decisions!

offtopic2.gif sorry but ann your new pic is very cute!

I'm getting married at Dreams in Cabo and I don't think I went with a package because I did all my arrangements with tammy. I think but I'm not sure( hmm I probably should know this... Tammy can you PM me and let me know.) I had no idea which one to pick though either when I was looking good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
