Has anyone used Illeana at Romantic Cabo Weddings. How did everything pan out? I just got started planning my wedding with her and am having a bit of communication problem due to a language barrier.

I used and her and absolutely loved her! I'm surprised you're having a language barrier - I didn't experience that at all. She is incredibly professional - has been working in the business for 10+ years - but also warm and caring.

Have you tried corresponding with her via email? The phone service can have static or a delay, so I did most of my communication over email until the last couple weeks.

She is great and I would totally recommend her - she made my wedding perfect! Even my guests were raving about her.

Illeana at Romantic Cabo Weddings is amazing! She answers my endless emails, secures wonderful vendors, & always looks out for my best interest. I highly recommend her without reservation, it's money well spent.

I'd like to second all the different good opinions regarding Illeana @ Romantic Cabo Weddings.

 

Every time I have a wedding with Illeana I know I am in for a great ceremony.

 

She is kind and very warm, perhaps you want to go into detail when you need something. Illeana and Lubba are one of the most solid teams in Cabo.

Communication is always a Two-Way street. Illeana and Luba have a solid grasp of english and are ALWAYS on top of EVERYTHING...especially when it comes down to details and quick responses. As vendors , we've only had GREAT results working with Romantic Cabo Weddings and never have to ask twice or question anything ...They are very much ON Top and in control of their game.

 My husband and I had to suddenly change the destination for our wedding due to his military service and after almost finalizing a Bahamas wedding,we moved from Florida to California and decided to change the wedding for Cabo San Lucas ( August 9 2013) since it was closer to us and our guests. I thought that having to plans wedding in 2 months is going to be a nightmare. Starting with Wedding Coordinators, vendors (flowers, musicians, cake, aisle), location, hotels, flights. The best step I ever took was to entrust my wedding to Ileana. From all the coordinators that I emailed she was the fastest one to get back to me with a phone call ( next day).She was extremely prompt and also had a list of vendors/ services/prices ready in the first email. The effectiveness and professionalism won me over, I knew I don't have to waste my time with someone else. The communication between the two of us was perfect, emails were replied in less than an hour, phone calls were made as promised. Since we didn't have much time to research about Cabo I relied on reccomendations her for everything: beach location, time for the ceremony, resort location. She even went as far as assisting us with advice on transport to from airport and cheaper accommodation for the guests that could not afford the resort we choose. Ileana was in touch with amazing vendors and everything was better than expected: the florist provided :my bouquet was amazing and exactly the color i requested and the decorations for the cake and also the flower in my hair and for the maid of honor; the aisle was perfect, the guitarist was really good. Daniel the Photographer did an amazing job and was very pleasant, we felt very comfortable posing for him and our photos were beautiful. In the last minute we booked a wedding package through the hotel we stayed at (villa del Palmar) and Ileana was very quick to change the plans from another beach location to the one from the hotel. She coordinated with the hotel Coordinator (Lizbeth) and together they made our wedding day an unforgettable day. She was extremely patient while my husband and I changed the time of the ceremony more than 3 times. I only had spoken to Ileana over the phone until the wedding day. I only met her face to face 2 hours before the wedding. She is the most genuine person and when she told me that I look beautiful she actually meant it, we hugged and I felt that a friend is organizing my wedding not a total stranger. She was by our side from the time I left the hotel room, walked through the hotel, until the wedding was completely over. I had forgotten my bouquet in the room and Ileana came to the rescue again and had the bouquets brought to me immediately. Our families are amazed and said they our wedding was as beautiful as a fairy tale can only be. this was only possible with Ileana's help. The day after the wedding, hotel guests were still talking about the wedding they saw the previous day  it was heart warming to hear those comments.

I know this is an older thread, but I wanted to share my experience with Illeana at Romantic Cabo Weddings. She was amazing to work with. Everything from weekly phone conversations to her knowledge of vendors in Cabo made for very easy planning. Once we arrived to our hotel in Cabo Illeana reached out to us to confirm our next meeting and rehearsal. There was never any guessing or waiting around. She was very organized the day of our wedding and every detail of our wedding was executed. She's extremely professional. I recommend her to anyone looking for an awesome WC in Cabo San Lucas!

Thank you SO much to all that talked on this thread! I know it is older too, but all this makes me want to book her yesterday! I have my first phone conversation with her tomorrow to see about her being my coordinator (I'm getting married June 12, 2015) and I am so excited to speak with her!
