Hey I just have a question about OOT bags. Did you guys put different things in the bags that were for guys, or were all the bags identical? I was just thinking about the candles I'm buying, but I don't think the men will really want a candle. Any ideas of something I could put in their bag instead?? Everything I'm thinking of seems to be too girly.....

thanks

There is another thread about this topic somewhere, but one of our possible "manly" items for our bags will be cigars. I do remember that some people created "man whore" bags that included stuff like condoms and funny stuff like that. Also, small bottles of tequila or beer if your resort isn't an AI might be an idea......

I think that is a great idea...I had the same issue because all of our guests are completely different and I didn't want to put a bunch of random stuff in them. This is why I haven't decided on this part yet. sad.gif

I had thought about a gift cert for excursion or something...but FI didn't like it...I don't think he realizes that I was planning on spending about $25 per bag anyway...

Hi JWOLFE! So I was wondering, with the tylenol, advil, tums, etc.... where did you find individual packettes? Another thught I had for the bags was packettes of hangover or Emergen-C. I thought about gift certs myself actually, but we are having a big group (over 50) and the amount I could afford for ech wouldn't add up to much! Very cool you can do that for yur guests!

Hey there! I haven't actually gotten the items yet.....it took me this long just to get a list together from other threads that I read. However, a lot of posters have been directing us to get the individual packets from Minimus.com. They do seem to have a lot of really cool, travel-sized items at reasonable prices. I do like your hangover packet idea! I may have to add that to my list! Thanks! And believe me, if we had as big a group as you're having, we wouldn't be giving the gift certs. We are just have 25 guests!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
