end of first week, down 5+lbs

i dont go to the meetings so i had to share with someone! i started last weds and in the first week ive lost at least 5 lbs. i didnt weigh when i started cause i thought it would be too discouraging, but im down 5lbs from what i weighed a few weeks BEFORE christmas when i went to the dr. so im guessing i was up from that weight after christmas.

the best thing is its the easiest "diet" ive ever done. because its not really a diet but changing the way you eat. i cant believe how much i was eating AND why i was eating. probably almost never because i was hungry. ive felt so much better all week and some of my stomach issues seem to be already improving if even just a little.

now i have to prepare for puerto vallarta. im hoping to get in a lot of exercise while im there and that will earn me a few more points each day. and drink lots of bottled water.

thanks for listening!

Holy low-fat cannoli! That is awesome news! I know I am up about 10 lbs from a few months ago.

I'm not doing WW, but am starting back to the gym after a lull and my first weigh-in and measurements with a trainer are tonight. ugh.

I have some serious work to do before April but last year I lost almost 20lb between Jan-Mar.

Please keep us posted Leigh! Sounds like you truly are off to a rocking' start!!!!

Keep up the great work!

That's great Leigh! I tried to do WW online and it didn't work for me over the long term, because I had no one to be accountable to (I'm so bad like that), but just eating right for that little while made me feel so much better and the weight really does start to fall off!

thanks guys! i may go to meetings too. but right now im good with the online. entering the points on there really works for me. and i can search for almost any food under the sun and it gives me the points. i add them in as i eat throughout the day. next step get back to a real workout routine!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
