Solo Guitarist Songs?

Recommended Posts

Hey Brides! For those of you who have used or are using a solo guitarist for your ceremony, what did he play? I would love for the guitarist to play familiar songs like U2's "All I want is you" and classical pieces. Is this possible to give them a list? or is it like a DJ and they have a specific playlist you can choose from (I'm clueless!) Thanks girls!

If you've found a guitarist, he probably has a list of songs he knows. These are the ones that will sound the best, so start from there - you may find that he has lots of things you like.

If there's something specific you want, talk with him about it and see what he can do - usually, with a little time, they are happy to accomodate new pieces into their repertoire.

hi. I'm working with Adan Mijares for my ceremony and cocktail hour. he sent me a list of what some of what he plays along with his demo. Sounds really great. he said if i had any special requests to let him know so he can begin to work on it now. I am seeing if he will play unchained melody for the processional. I will let you know what he says and if he is willing to play it!

Chances are your musician will be able to play anything you want especially if they can get their hands on the notes (most popular songs can be found on the internet). We are bringing our guitarrist down from the states but we gave him a list of songs ranging from Dave Matthews to Country and he learned them in less than a week.

Hello,

I just wanted to let you know that we can play your requests, it would be good to know your list of songs prior to your wedding to be able to practice or learn them if that would be the case. I used to play on a band so I know all types of songs U2, Santana, Jack Johnson, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, Sting, Beatles, etc etc.

In Case you are intrested please contact me and will send you some demos.

Thank You, Have a nice day!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
