Paella is this rice and seafood mixture. They do a cooking demonstration on the beach during the day tour, and it is served at lunch. They have so much food though you may have missed it!
lol, yup they did both Grease Lightening and Summer Nights - completely unexpected.

QUESTION for ladies previously married at LC: Did you have an entertainment crew on board for your guests' ride over there?
I know Kelley said it was optional... I personally loved the entertainment but we will probably have several little kids on board. I'm sure they could tone it down though...

As for the Paella, we must've missed it. Out of our 4 hours on the island we spent 3 of them with Kelley going over things. 30 mins to eat immediately upon arrival and then 30 mins at the end to grab a chair and drink on the beach. I wish we would have had more time to explore. Guess we'll just have to go back! cheesy.gif

I wasn't on that boat but I saw the video and they didn't do the routines but they did have the mic and were joking around, talking to guests from the stage-like part in the front of the boat. They are really funny (as you know)! If you have a bunch of kids they'll totally be appropriate, and probably involve the kids if they aren't shy. I remember Nicole saying to let her know and I never did. I *think* the boat has the assigned crew and if you want they'll entertain, otherwise they just hang back.

Side note - the crew is so awesome. My niece & nephew fell asleep on the boat ride there and their parents were feeling ill, so a crew member had both kids sleeping on his lap. The guy sat there, a kid on each leg, for at least 30 minutes. We have it on video, it was so sweet.

I've been sick on their boat before and they washed me down/cleaned me up before I could even try to signal them...lol I can't say enough about how fantastic they are.

the stairs weren't scary to me at all. there are a lot of them, but it's not like they're steep or dangerous or anything.

To me - yes. However, they don't seem to bother anyone else - like I said I'm just kind of a freak about stairs in general! cheesy.gif Even in my own home. Also I think the fact that there's no railing for me to cling onto adds to my fears. I'll go see a good therapist before my wedding, haha.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
