Natasha- WOW! Everything looked so nice, thanks for sharing so many of your pictures with us, they are wonderful!

I love all the candid pictures of your guests, everyone looks so happy. You and your husband look radiant on the beach- you can truly see the love and happiness shared between you on that day.

Your reception looks beautiful- I love that you had firedancers and fireworks, my FI and I have been debating those, now I think we should do both.

Who were the couple in black leading your group in dance? That looks like tons of fun!

I'm sure you'll answer all that in your review...I'll wait!

Congratulations Natasha- everything looked perfect!

I'm working on a "what I would do/what I wouldn't do" post, but here's a preview.

Here's the number one piece of advice. I would definitely have the firedancers. If the budget is tight, cut out flowers. Honestly, the properties in Cabo are beautiful and adding flowers goes unnoticed. I cut a few flowers but, looking back, could have removed another $230 from the flower budget without even noticing it. The firedances were $675 and Maye did not recommend tipping them. TOTALLY worth it as it makes your wedding so different than any other wedding you have attended and they were there for a long time.

The fireworks are $2000 for 2 minutes. We loved them and so did all of our guests (makes weddings more fun for guys who all came up to me and claimed they were pyrotechnic fanatics). However, if you are budget conscious - 1 minute would have worked just fine. They are really nice fireworks - very professional and impressive. NOTE TO BRIDES - you will get a bit of soot on your dress. Not a big deal to me, but should be noted.

i agree with the firedancers...i really wanted them but we decided to do casino night which was fun and worked out for us because they had the firedancers at the resort for dinner the night before and they were great!

Wow Natasha, your pics are so great!

I had been waiting to see how everything went. And Tammy is right, you do look like a combination of Shania and Finola. She hit it right on the money with that comparison! You look so beautiful.

We saw your fireworks the night of your wedding. We were at Las Ventanas having a drink when they went off. All the people at the Ventanas restaurant and bar got up to go see your fireworks. They were great!

Congrats again Natasha your pics were a great to view. You and your guests looked like you had a great time on the dance floor. I loved all of the details and extras (i.e. dance instructors, fireworks) your friends and family will be talking about your wedding for many years to come.

Has anyone ever told you that you favor Shania Twain?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
