nope, still no WC. censored.gif hopefully it will be sorted out this week because my FMIL called my FI to tell him that we needed to really get on the ball about a few things, and that was one of them. somehow when she tells him, its more urgent than when i tell him it needs to be done. oh well, whatever, at least he's doing it now! smile124.gif

WHEH!!!!! My room blocked filled and then some....Man, I was sweating major bullets....anyway gals, goodluck with your planning process....my wedding is in 4 weeks and I'll be sure to do a detailed review of everything when I get back......right now I'm just doing detailed crap like seating charts, place cards, menus, welcome bags, blah blah blah.

 

I'm so super excited but also super stressed hoping everything will be executed according to plan!

 

Sorry I've been MIA for a while...I have a licensing exam in three weeks for med school. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Sorry, can't help. We're IPODing it with their sound system rental. They are VERY slow. I was supposed to hear back last week regarding cake prices and updated menu, and now word.

 

We have now designated a "helper bee" who will be taking charge the day of our wedding. I'm too afraid things would not turn out if left to the Westin.

ok at least i dont feel so bad. maira gallegos was going to call me this week to decide a ceremony location, and she never called. surprise surprise. where are you doing yours on the grounds?

Well, we are having our ceremony on the beach. I'm sorry to hear you still haven't been able to confirm Arricefes. that would just be a magical place for a ceremony. After I saw this post, I went and emailed Lorena again with the email she sent me telling me she would get back to me last week. Funny, but not really. Kind of annoying.

dont bother with asking about doing the ceremony at arricefes. they want a $10,000 buyout fee to use the censored.gif foyer.

we told them thanks but no thanks.

we have to pick another location now. grrr. i will post an awesome map they gave us, but it doesnt include the terraces. its on my home computer though, so will post tonight.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
