Hi All!

I'm working on a template for my STDs. It looks like a passport (I'm saving the boarding passes for invites - SO fab!), but its going to seem a little blah if its just the front/back. So I want to include something so that I can add couple of pages on the inside, but I'm stumped!

Anyone have any ideas as to what I can include on the pages? I was thinking of making stamps or something, but that doesn't seem particularly interesting...

All of this is completely preliminary, we don't have the hotel or a date picked out, but I'm thinking that once we do we're going to be scrambling. So I'm trying to do some of the design work first.

Oh I wish I were more creative!!!

Once you pick a place you will have a ton more information! You could include info about not only the resort, but if you know where (i.e. Punta Cana etc.) you could put country info, other things to do in the area, tidbits ad little facts about Dominican Republic etc.

You could also put a page about you and your FI, why you chose a destination wedding, what you want people to know about the week in gneral before they go... I am really thinking of the things I have included on my wedding website - what about information about a travel agent if you have one?

Hope this helps! I am working on my STDs right now.. with some wine.. my FI is playing video games in his underwear .. LOL... boys and crafts just don't mix!

Thanks so much for the ideas ladies! This is so much fun, and yet so frustrating. My FI is watching football... but he is getting dinner together. He occasionally peeks over my shoulder to see what I'm doing, and add his two cents, but we're definitely on our own with the crafty stuff!

LOL - FI just corner punched three pieces of paper and is already sighing and complaining - tooo funny... his solution is to just not invite ppl we want to come so we (meaning I) don't have to make so many...

He just came in and asked if I was talking to my "forum friends" about him! tee hee

We included general travel information for our guests (airlines, car rentals, money exchange) as well as weather, attire, what to bring, etc. We also talked about all the fun activities that are available like snorkeling, hiking in the rainforest, canopy tours, and deep sea fishing. These were all things we knew our guests would enjoy. We didn't have specific information about the events yet so we just included general information to get our guests excited.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
