Reasonable hotels?

Recommended Posts

You can get a really good deal from one of the bigger hotels on the strip if you go directly to their website and sign up for promotions. Once you get the deal you're looking for then you can tell them to take your email off. I don't know if you want to go thru that but if you have a hotel in mind it might be worth it. We were just at Treasure Island for $89/night. If you're not on the strip and don't have a car then you want to think about how often you're taking a cab to the strip too.

Have fun!

If I book now I can get flights, 2 nights in the Grand Canyon, 2 nights in old Vegas at the Golden Nugget and then 3 nights at Harrah's for $1300 taxes in. My parents liked the Golden Nugget so I have no problem staying there, and the hotel in the canyon is one they stayed at as well, it's just Harrah's I'm not sure about :)
Harrah's is totally fine! If I had to choose between Harrah's and Imperial Palace, I would pick Harrah's. The location is ideal and the rooms are a little bit nicer than Imperial Palace. Also, Harrah's has an outdoor bar the plays great music all night long.

Soo here's what we did...we booked 2 nights at the Golden Nugget, 2 nights at a dumpy little hotel right in the Canyon (cheaper than staying in the village...not as nice but definately cheaper), and then 2 nights at the Flamingo (not my first choice, but DH liked the look of the pool....like we're even going to be spending any time at the pool, but whatever) and we rented a car for the week....and the grand total was $1478.00 including all flights and taxes and the car! Not too shabby :) So excited!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
