John Fagan was great! Here's part of my review.. one thing.. make sure someone tells him in person how to pronounce your names (including last name)..

      Minister - John Fagan (A)
      John@BajaWedding.com
John was hired by Mariana at Dreams and came with our package. He was so great. Matt and I are non-practicing and he never tried to force anything on us that we weren’t comfortable saying. He emailed me several vow samples and was willing to let me cut and paste and add to create our own document. He was extremely professional and kind. He double checked at the very end to make sure the ceremony was exactly as we wanted it to be. We chose very traditional vows and had a reading of “The Union” by Robert Fulghum and Matt’s sister also read the Sand Ceremony. At the end he gave us a symbolic certificate and our vows typed on beautiful paper for us to keep. He emailed me when we got back to make sure everything went well.

Matt said later he was starting to get a little nervous. The guys were all lining up and no minister.. all of a sudden he sees this man in a billowing white robe stroll towards the ceremony site. He felt such a sigh of relief at that moment.

I was a little nervous about having a minister with a strong accent or worse yet, we had a friend get married and I don’t know if she noticed or not but her officiant had a whistle when he talked.. I laughed every time he talked.. John was absolutely great and I would recommend him to anyone looking to get married in Cabo.

We used Haven Boggs, who was recommended by my WC.
He was great - more in my review, but I would definitely recommend him.

I also have John Fagan booked for my wedding in June. He has been extremely helpful so far, and very reasonably priced. He always replies to my email right away and very helpful with everything you need. Here is his email: John@BajaWedding.com

Marco Arechiga is very nice, laidback, funny and knows how to ease the presure of the moment...In a nice kind-a-way. Pm me if you need more info.

I second the recommendation for Marco as an Officiant, that is if you can actually book him! Marco is in big demand because he is sooo good at what he does. His demeanor for weddings is a wonderful mix of respect, history, humor and sense of place. Book him now before you cannot.

I also STRONGLY recommend Marco Arechiga! He was the minister for our wedding at the Hilton Los Cabos on 3/29/08. He was so friendly, warm and really down to earth. Both my fiancee and I felt like we had known him forever upon first meeting him and he made our ceremony so special - it was absolutely perfect. All my wedding guests commented after the ceremony that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and that Marco was the best minister they had ever seen!
