Peak and off peak season in cabos

Hey Emily - June thru August is going to be the "off season" - basically it's the hottest time of year there. If you want to avoid "high season" - you'll want to stay away from December thru April - with all the holidays & spring break I'm pretty sure that's when you'll see higher airfare.

According to my WC, hurricane season begins in the middle to late part of August. We've been told by many (WC, vendors) that our early Aug date is safe.

Our quoted room price is about $215 including taxes for our group room rate for the partial ocean view rooms. I know someone who paid a group room rate of $600 last May because it was still high season!

$1579 per person? Where are you getting your tickets from? I freaked out when i saw that and went onto Orbitz. I would be flying out of Boston (not too far from NJ) and it was about $500 per person. I looked for the end of June because that is the time we will probably be going next year. Or is it $1579 all inclusive? That sounds about right to me. I was just at Moon Palace in Nov. and it was about that for one week. So, that actually does not seem to bad to me!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
