I agree with that! If you can't find a videographer in your budget at least try to bring a video camera and enlist a guest or tripod to help. It's better than no video at all and you'll appreciate having moving memories to look at down the line, it does go by fast!

We had a videographer that was relatively inexpensive...I want to say around $500 or so? Also a few guests took their own videos so we made out well and they picked up things the pro didn't since he couldn't be in 3 places at once :o)

Regarding the video, is that set to music or is just video with the actual stuff of what was going on during the times of the clips? I know there's a highlights video that's 4-5 minutes long and is set to music, but I didn't know what the 45 minute video consisted of. Thanks!

I ended up going with Paul from PlayaWeddings and although I don't have the video yet (wedding was only 3 days ago!) he was very professional, showed up half an hour early (on top of me asking/paying him to show up 45 minutes before the beginning of the ceremony).

For 800$ for 2 hours I get a full length video with good quality sound, plus an edited video to a song (the song I chose is 3 1/2 minutes so that's how long the edited video will be).

I recommend Mike. He filmed our wedding at Dreams Cancun in Feb 08.
The video was excellent!
He worked very well with our photographer and was non-intrusive.
Gracias Mike!

Mike/Miguel Cantarell is awesome!!! He filmed our wedding just 13 days ago.

I didn't get my DVD yet but i have a feeling it's going to be very nice. Just watching him do his job was amazing.

He's a sweetheart and such a hard worker. He showed up at 4 (right on time) and left at 11pm. Can't wait to get my DVD :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
