Advice from the larger busted ladies...

Hi ladies...

 

Does anyone have a suggestion for a REALLY GREAT and SUPER SUPPORTIVE longline strapless bra? I received my strapless dress a couple of days ago, and the Va Bien bra that I splurged on isn't going to cut it. I'm a 38DD (if that is not TMI!)

 

Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!

Ok I am there with you sister. 36DDD. Victoria Secrets makes a good one. JCPenny or SEars I heaer have good ones and Vanity fair bras are great too. You can try them on to see how you feel

I purchased one from Bravissimo (I think). They should be based out of London. It was indeed a great bra but be careful because the boning hurt me a bit.

I can understand! I vary from 36DDD to 38DDD depending on the maker of the bra. I have a hard time finding things too. Try Fredericks of Hollywood. They carry a WIDE range of sizes and styles. They don't have a lot of stores anymore, but they have a site.

How about Lane Bryant. They have a big selection for large busted ladies and good prices.

there is hope! try bali - i love their bras. they are super supportive, and a lot less expensive than VS. i've not tried a strapless by them, but i'm sure it would be great.

 

also, have you thought about having your seemstress sew cups into your dress?

hi girls - i am in the big bust club LOL i am a 32 to 34 DD depending on my weight. i ususally get my bras from VS, i also really love Bali for regular bras. i have to be honest i have a really hard time finding really supportive strapless bras that do not show the bands b/c they make them so thick for DD cups. the best advice is to go to Macy's or some other big department store and get one of those strapless body shapers that way it is more like a leotard - those things really have great support for the breasts and do not have any of the weird lines or huge straps!

Hey there ladies! 36DD or 38D here, and while dress shopping, I tried on a 38D strapless body shaper from David's Bridals that turned out to be very good! I wasn't expecting much, but it really smoothed me out and gave me great support under my dress. It was comfortably soft (no hard boning), but very supportive and cinched my waist perfectly.

 

I think I'm going to go back there and get that one (not sure of the cost though...)
