Hi! I am getting married at Occidental Grand Xcaret. I don't really have much info on Xcaret Park (except that it's beautiful) but I was at OGX in August and I posted some of the pictures on the forum. If you go into the Riviera Maya forum, and do a search for "occidental" they should come up. If you have any problems finding them PM me and I'll just email them to you... good luck and happy planning!

I have been to the chapel at Xcaret and its soo pretty! I wanted to look into getting married there as well but I could not get through to the wedding coordinators there and my Fi wanted to stay in downtown cancun area. But it is absolutely beautiful!

Anyway, my photographer Claudia Rodriguez has pics and when we met with her she said it was one of her fav. places for weddings becasue its so pretty adn great for pics. There are a few pics of a wedding there, but not a lot. The website is: Claudia Rodriguez, Photographer, Cancun & Riviera Maya

 

go under "my Team" then to citalli Rico's gallery. The pics are under there of "Michelle & Jeff". Hope it helps!

I see that your wedding was February 2008. I am getting married at the XCaret Chapel in January 2009 and having a reception at La Isla as well. I would LOVE any info you could give me about how your wedding went!! We are not able to start our wedding until 6:30 and the sun will set at 5:20 so it will be completely dark. I am REALLY worried about that!! Did you see the chapel in the dark? Do you think I need to find some extra lights somehow so our guests can see us as we say our vows? (IE tons of candles, hanging christmas lights, anything like that) Anything you can tell me would be awesome. Also, if you have any pics from your wedding I would love to see them.       Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
