Lizz - I am just stealing yours, since it was closed to my undones...

STILL LEFT TO DO:

- finalize "must play" list

- burn cds onto ipod for reception (bring cd's)

- print out all emails from WC for confirmation

- print out pics of hairstyles I like

- go shopping @ MAC with girlfriends to get wedding make up

- put together OOT bags

- finish making flower girl dresses (2)

- finish making OOT bags (13)

- start packing!!!!!!!!!

And wait - do you ask people to do toasts? Or do they just do them? Ahhhh.

The biggest things I have left to do are the ceremony programs, finalizing the musicians for the church and finalizing transportation from hotel to church and back. There are many little things but I figure if I don't get them done then oh well!

Congrats to all the May brides. We have about a month to go!

Carly, can you believe it's going to be here in just over a month?!? I forget...what days are you flying down/back?

We asked Mike's uncle to do the blessing before dinner. I think it's the father of the groom that does it usually, but FI's dad is deceased so we asked his uncle. Also, our Best Man and MOH are doing toasts (we didn't ask them, but I assume they are).

  • FI's wedding shirt and shoes (have the suit and tie)
  • My Rehearsal outfit
  • burn New Zealand Songs for DJ (in case he doesn't have)
  • GM & BM Timelines (almost done jsut waiting on final from WC)
  • Pack
  • buy a few cosmetic items (running low)
  • pick up wedding bands and check engravings

That's it. the two things weighing on me are the Slideshow and printing out and assembling the programs and menus. OTher than that I feel pretty good.

I am doing ok.

Still need to get list for Dj and Photographer.

Get the cake all set.

Finish programs

and lots of little stuff that can easily be done.

Right now I am very happy I did lots of stuff early so I am not SUPER stressed when other things arise.

I have finals next week and after that it's all about the wedding.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
