Britt, like I said in the original post, if no other LC brides are intersted we could always just print the cups with Puerto Vallarta? what are your thoughts on that?

 

I haven't had a chance to contact VendoDirect yet...work has been nuts today...we are definatley out of holiday mode!

It just depends on how much it would cost (we are way over budget and I just can't seem to find areas to cut back on lol!!). But come on, Who wouldn't want a hyper colored cup, right?

Ooh girls! Count me in too. I could do 50-75. They're awesome but there is NO POSSIBLE WAY that Vanessa and I need 4 million hyper colored cups.

Unless, of course, the hyper color t-shirts ever come back in style. Then I might be mad I didn't splurge the rest of the way...

Ok so I just talked to VendoDirect to get details on the cups.

 

price per cup is $0.79

there is a one time $40 set up fee for the artwork that we would send to them.

They can ship the cups to multiple addresses we would each just have to pay for our own shipping. Depending on where the cups are going shipping would be anywhere from $15-$19 each.

 

I talked to one of the girls who was included on the group order that some BDW members placed back in September for the Tulum cups and she told me that they too paid for their own shipping and had each box shipped to their addresses. Her wedding was in December and her guests (like tara's) LOVED them!

 

If we decide to move forward with the order I think it might be easier if one of us places and pays for the order and then everyone else can that one person. I have no problem doing this and then everyone can mail me a check or pay through paypal.

 

So let me know what you guys think....

We just need to figure out some artwork for the cups and get total numbers. Also find out if anyone else is interested in joining us?! I one more person is interested we would be perfect!

 

So far:

Jweekly would need 50-75 cups

Britt - 50 cups

Andi - I could easily do 100 I think

 

and if for some reason this doesn't work out...no big deal, just let me know what you all think!

Hey! I'd be more than happy with just 50 but will take the extra 25 if no one else jumps into our order.

Andi, the plan seems perfect. I'm cool with whatever PV logo (i'm pretty easy to get along with) and am more than happy to mail a check!

I'm so excited! One more thing checked off the list!

 

Sidenote: How are you guys getting all of your stuff to PV? Extra suitcase? Shipping it to Nicole beforehand? I'm not really sure how it works.

ok sounds good...i will see what i can find for a logo and put something together either today or tomorrow...something simple like a palm tree or star fish?

for getting the stuff to PV we are just planning on extra suitcases. the airline we are flying on allows 2 checked bags with no extra charge. so then if I still need more bags checked I was just going to "kindly" ask my parents or FI's parents to check an extra bag for us just to get it down there. Honestly though I don't think I will have too much...I am not taking any centerpieces or anything, the biggest thing I will be taking are the OOT bags and contents.

I hadn't planned on taking any extra suitcases... I have table cards and a guest book!! That's it! I leave in 8 days....

Ladies - I would advise against shipping anything. I have heard that they are very careful about people bringing things into the country to sell. So if you have 40 little gifts or something, it can look like a customs violation. I have heard that stuff simply gets lost and then thats it. You never see it again or hear anything.

I have heard that too...

Did you (or anyone else) have any issues getting through the airport with all of your wedding stuff? did anyone get the "red light"?
