Hey Andi-

I am also getting the maracas but I am getting them from a girl in PV that does custom paint/designs on them. The ones that LC can get for you are also nice.

Question though are you doing 1 per person or 2? I am still undecided on that I was just wondering other peoples thoughts......

p.s. can anyone tell me the trick to uploading a pic to your profile? I keep trying and it says upload failed.

because they are kind of big, I was thinking of just putting one on each plate (just as Meaghan did) I figure I will want to keep a pair and the kiddos that are coming can keep a pair, but after the reception I am not sure that everyone will want maracas that say "reggie and Andi" forever.

ok, so question for everyone on the maraca idea. In my head I am thinking of using the maracas in place of the traditional clinking of the glasses for the bride and groom to kiss. So they will shake the maraca instead, is this how everyone else is planning to use them as well?

If so do you guys think it would be a good idea to have a cute little note tied onto each one to explain what they are really for?

I dont know why but I really like this whole maraca idea...and after I saw that Maeghan had them engraved, I was more excited! I told my FI about this last night and he just looked at me with blank stare and said "oh babe, just do whatever makes you happy!". He shouldn't have told me that! smile120.gif If only he knew about all of my FUN ideas I have for this whole wedding thing!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
