Anyhow, I am getting back into the wedding planning, Chrisnessa, I am also have a big wedding (around 150) and Nicole seemed to have a good handle on the tables and how crowded the beach would be. Quick question, you said that you got 150 silver plated seashell name holders. Where did you get those? Anybody else have advice on name holders?
Also I am looking for an upbeat, fun song for when we are walking back down the aisle together (I think that is called the recessional, but not sure) Any suggestions on that one?

Something I'm wondering about... maybe some of you who have already gotten married can help? Is it reasonable to plan to get married barefoot? Or will I hurt my feet between the spa/getting ready area and the beach? We've got some "Just Married" flip flops but we were thinking we'd only wear them after the ceremony.
i was barefoot almost the entire time without a problem. i walked down the stairs, and throughout the ceremony, and maybe even dinner. i think i put on some shoes to walk back to the boat though.

Those of you who've already gotten married at LC - did you have kids at your weddings? Were there any problems?
We had 4 kids there - ages 4-7, and they were totally fine. But they're also pretty well behaved, independant kids and don't need a lot of supervision. I am so glad they were there - and they had no problems at all. They pretty much danced throughout the night with the rest of us!

married LC gals. Tell me your ONE favorite thing about having your wedding at LC.
and for the other BDB. What is the top ONE reason you picked LC?
For me, our top reason for picking LC was the guarantee that we wouldn't have men in speedos in our pictures unless we invited them
aka. guaratneed private beach
My favorite thing ... damn, that's a tough one. I guess just the entire setting - it was exactly what we wanted. It was private, romantic, beautiful, intimate, good food, a good WC, ... so many things!
The original reason we chose Las Caletas is because we wanted privacy - we didn't want a resort wedding with a bunch of random onlookers. Once we found LC - we knew it was perfect for us, even though we didn't see it until our wedding day!
