HolleyC I would love your travel agents information! My email is smacko at ibigroup dot com. We stayed at the Marival last year and I loved it!!

I get more and more excited everyday that I come check out the posts. I'm talking to FI tonight about LC.

Tara- we all brought our own- kinda. I didn't even think of helping them plan this aspect but I know I brought MY own and those that didn't remember to bring anything used my stuff! LC provides towels though. :)

Wow! that is great that you are done planning!

If you don't mind me asking, what are you (or any other LC brides) using for centerpieces...

Rachel, I know you said something about forgetting your main ones at the hotel but I think your tables turned out great!

Thanks Andi. Nicole just used the hurricane lanterns they have. I did remember to bring some of the colored stones.

Honestly, it worked out and if a bride wanted to not worry about centerpieces, it's a great alternative.

I just have a few questions for you guys, I went through this post but there are quite a few pages..
I really think most (if not all) of these questions are answered somewhere in this massive thread!
            1. Is there an extra costs for guests to take the boat over to the wedding? Yes, if you bring more than 3 (or is it 2?) - but they allow a couple for free, then you pay beyond that.
            2. What hotels do people stay at? Anywhere they want! My guests stayed at Dreams - one family stayed in PV, closer to the marina.
            3. How far is PV from Riviera Maya, could my guests still stay at the PAlladium? Ummmmm, wrong coast! lol It's a totally different part of Mexico I believe.
            4. We are getting a rate of 91$ per person per nite at the Palladium (AI) is there something like this in the PV area? No idea on rates at other hotels in PV - I think we payed around $126/night at Dreams PV (AI).
Is June too rainy? I was married in June and didn't see a drop of rain.
Sorry for all the questions, but if I am going to change locations i need to get on it... I am nervous and scared!! help..
I don't have much time (baby is waking up!), but here are some quick answers.

My name is Shannon and I'm a newbie to this site. After reading through all 101 pages of this thread I am definitely considering Las Caletas for our wedding. My FI and I live in Calgary Canada and have family all over Canada so we are doing a destination wedding.

I can't believe I never though of Las Caletas before finding this site!! We went there last year when we were in Puerto Vallarta to see Rhythms of the Night.

I've emailed Kelley and received a quote back so now all I have to do is convince FI that this is the place for us!
I can't wait to book it...I'm sure I'll have a million questions for you all!
AWESOME! I've added you to the list - keep us updated on your planning!

I honestly can't remember what our fights cost, and we went from Minneapolis, to PV, to Hawaii, and back to Minneapolis - and that was over a year ago. But that could be right these days w/gas prices.

I know I've posted pictures of mine a few times on here. Or there should be a link in my siggy. I had submerged flowers and aqua sea glass basically!

BTW - here is a link to the FAQ thread Rachel created! http://bestdestinati...om/forum/t15711

I'm not doing centers. I really don't care about the center, ha! I am doing the tan table runners, and then i bought some clear stones for the tables, along with the votive candles LC provides. IMO the centers are a waste of money. I'm going to simplistic route. Tons of candles and reflective stones; done!

Do they have a variety of stones there or are most of you bringing your own? I love the look of the blue ones on the brown table runner.

I'm brining my own, as I believe most, if not all of the girls have.

Watch out for them at Michaels. When they have their dollar sales the stones are usually included in that sale.
