Wondering if any of you DIYers found a site where you can order natural woven cane or rattan like paper as a layer for invitations. I'm just considering my options in case my invitation place falls through or in case I want to get fancy with my welcome letters.

It's really expensive (Brittany buys in bulk, that's how come she can use it on her invites relatively inexpensively.).. I was going to the paper on my placecards, but once I saw the min order and the cost I said forget it. (Try searching Basho also)

What if you bought some woven placemats, cut them to size and stitched up the edges?

It would probably be much cheaper than buying paper.

i ordered basho paper from paper.com....ladies are right. this paper is expensive! so i used it by cutting them up as belly bands for our invites. we sent out 100 5x7invites and bands were about 3 inches thick.
