It's a liquid mix. So you put equal parts of the mix in with your own vodka. As the night goes on, you'll notice yourself going with a 1:2 ratio of mix to vodka. Ahhh.... I've acquired many a buzz using that mix with our vodka. :)

haha Yes, as the night goes on there is less juice and more vodka or some vodka shots on the sidepinkie.gif

This whole state controlled liquor store thing here in WA sucks though. Liquor costs way more here than I'm used to paying. A fifth of good vodka is at least $25 sad.gif
We have cheaper prices, but we have time & location limitations. We have to drive 20 minutes to Dallas or Addison to buy liquor, and they stop selling after like 9pm or midnight (can't remember which, because we (obviously) start buying & drinking WAYYYY earlier than that! hehe...)

WHY DID I MOVE HERE?!?! God damn dry counties....

No liquor on Sundays? How do you guys get through church? hehe...DH used to live in Louisiana and Texas and mentioned buying liquor from bootleggers on Sundays...a throwback to prohibition I guess? CA is cool except you can't buy liquour between 2am and 6am....like buying liquour at 3am is worse than waking up at 6 to drink? Never understood that one!

MsShelley thanks for this thread! We got this beautiful Lenox martini set as a wedding gift and haven't used it yet because we don't really make martinis, but I think I'll be buying that Rose's pomegranate mix and breaking in the set on NYE bunny_4.gif

Jami - I know, I was totally shocked about the whole no liquor on Sunday thing. Actually, and this is funny, it took me a good 3 trips to Safeway before it dawned on me that you can't actually buy liquor at grocery stores. I kept thinking I had missed the liquor section. Odd that I would miss it because the entire rest of the store is arranged just like every other Safeway. GRRRR.. Yes, wine & beer are available, but no liquor. And then the thought translated to Costco...how can I not buy premium liquor in large quantities for a great price?? Yeah, well, gotta travel home to Cali for that one.

One of my good friends in the OC has promised to send me a Costco sized bottle of Ketel One for my bday, but that's not till July!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
