Ugh Drea, that sucks! He needs a total intervention. Isn't it so gay when all of these guys get together & play games - I like to call that a circle jerk.

No computers this weekend!!

Damn the people who made it possible to play video games at home.
Mike always says he'll play a "quick game". It is NEVER a quick game. And when I ask him how much longer, it's always "5 more minutes". Yeah, the dog can't wait another 3 hours to pee, so I'll do it. Soooo frustratingBangHead.gif

my DH doesn't play video games, but he watches SO MUCH TV! I'm not really a tv person, it wouldn't bother me not to have cable because I do other stuff, but he watches every damn sport he can find and would never miss a red sox or pats game, its so damn annoying! But I can't complain too much because when he watches TV I'm on BDW.

I hate video games. My ex used to play Everquest 24/7 and it got to the point where he just wouldn't leave the house. He sat in the computer room, smoking pot and playing that damn game all day & night.

With him, there wasn't a way to fix it. On the rare occasion when I could pry the keyboard from his fingers to go out, he was so moody and going thru "withdrawals", that I relented and started going out on my own, with my own friends.

Here's a little passive aggressive "fun" for you tho:

Go to his computer when he's in the bathroom. Press these keys simultaneously: Control, Alt, and the down arrow key. This will shift his PC screen upside down. Good luck to him on figuring that one out!!! :)

lolololol....good one Maria, but if I did that he would probably figure it out (remember Erik is a computer guy) or maybe he wouldn't... and he also plays this on his Mac

definitely wouldn't work on a Mac.... but even my programmer/IT friends didn't know about this trick. It's one of those things that isn't mentioned in documentation and you have to really dig to find how to undo it. I stumbled across it when I hit the wrong sequence of keys at home. Took me awhile I remember what I pressed to undo it. :) the person who sits across from me at work is one of those 'gossipy' types whose always whispering.... when she really drives me batty, I'll do this when she heads out for lunch. and then I just sit there chuckling and when she leaves to grab the IT guy to fix it, I'll undo it while she's gone. :)

That is awesome!!! I have to try it. To reverse it do you just do the same thing, but press the up arrow key?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
