Dreams Resorts & Spas has built their newest Dream! Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa is now open and welcoming guests. Be the first to see the resortâ€s fabulous new suites, opulent lounges and dining venues, and expanded Explorerâ€s Club for kids.

Dreams Tulum is located on one of the most unique beaches in the Riviera Maya surrounded by lush tropical acres, sugary white sand and magnificent colonial architecture. Just five minutes from Tulum and 30 minutes from Playa del Carmen, Dreams Tulum provides upscale surroundings and combines fun and relaxation with the ancient world of the Maya. It is one of the only resorts in the Riviera Maya where you can view the ancient ruins of Tulum from the beach! Every guest is treated to impeccable service, elegant dining, abundant diversions and personal attention.

Dissolve away your hectic world with the cleansing ritual of a “temazcal” a pre-Columbian stone steam bath, followed by a cool dip in a spring fed “cenote.” The spa also offers a full range of natural curative massage therapies and facial treatments; each designed to soothe your body, mind and spirit. And to really help you unwind, the Explorer's Club keeps your kids happy and busy with their own kind of supervised fun.

Dreams Tulum sits on two miles of powdery white sand with everything to make the whole family happy. A short drive brings you to a lush ecological nature preserve. And youâ€re right on the ocean for snorkeling, catamarans, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and ocean trampoline. Take an easy-guided bike tour to the ancient Mayan ruins of Tulum, one of the worldâ€s great mysteries. Thereâ€s tennis, football, dance lessons, weekly beach parties or just lazing by the sparkling pool and Jacuzzis.

Short but sweet review!

Quote:
We were married on July 1, 2006 in the chapel. After, our twenty-six guest and we had champagne and canapés on the beach, then finished the evening with an outstanding five-course meal on the patio. The chef and staff made it a truly wonderful experience. Yuritzia, the wedding coordinator was amazing! We had questioned, and she answered them. We had requests, i.e. incense in the chapel, and she made sure it happened. She made herself available and patiently worked with us to prepare for our day.

Oh, I'm sorry, I am not married yet, I was just posting a review I had found. I believe though that in order to have a chapel wedding it must be catholic and legal. I could be wrong but I do know that there is some sort of stipulation with Mexico and being married in a church. The other girls around here will know more about this then me.

Just trying to understand, 'host', did you go there, or did you just get those pictures and reviews on line somewhere?

I am considering this one because of the mayan influence and ruins nearby. In the past 2 months since this last post, has anyone learned more, or had a wedding there?

Thanks ladies!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
