p.s. is it juts me or does anyone else think its kinda deranged for someone to gift a cashmere teddy bear to an infant? i mean, all babies do is eat, puke and poop, so if you actually let your kid touch it, it would be ruined in 2 seconds!

It is crazy. It was all kind of excessive in my opinion. It's really nice stuff, but stuff I soooooo would not buy because I'd get a little irked the minute Aiden spits up on it or something.

Now, when he spits up on it, or ruins the cashmere bear, it will be pretty funny to you. You get to have all this great fancy stuff that you did not pay for that you also don't care if he ruins, sounds pretty perfect to me.

I hope you made sure to sign your name on the note, I think that is perfect.

Jessica, I would be seriously pissed. I think that because of my past I'm a little sensitive to extra attention being paid to my man, but regardless I think this is a little over the top. I'm glad you decided to keep the gifts. Now, you just need to drive the point home that you're the MOTHER and the WIFE! Sign the note something like "Aiden, Jessica, and Jessica's husband Brian"... I hope she gets the point. I totally think she was trying to make a dig at you by excluding you off the card... unbelievably bold and tacky imo. Bitch. Skank.

Well I was going to suggest that you title the thread "Gifts from a Psycho-hose Beast" (hahah....Wayne's World anyone...? )

But yeah, I think that was ALL a bit much...and I would have been irritated about being obviously, deliberately left off the card too! Honestly, even if I'm not sure of the spouse's name, spelling whatever...I just address things to The Smith Family...or whatever. There's no excuse for leaving you name off the card.

It sounds like you went the classy route with your response to her. I think Miss Manners would be proud. :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
