welcome1.gif Sherri! A wedding at Waialea Beach park will be beautiful! My family used to vacation near there when I was a pre-teen.

Ummm, and can I say, it sounds like you are WAY ahead of the curve in terms of planning! I don't even have my invites out yet & my wedding is a few months before yours! I plan to send mine after the first so they don't get overlooked during the holiday season.

And, also, don't feel bad about no engagement pics - we are in the same boat. I keep bugging him to do it. I'm hoping to turn a holiday Xmas card photo session into potential engagement pics.

Thanks Christa and Ana!

Christa – I feel so farrrrrrrrrrr behind. I think it is because I donâ€t have a dress yet. As far as invites, I have to share my invite story with you guys. It took me 5 months to find invites. I am soooooo picky. I was suppose to get them out Nov 1! But with the help of my Mom I got them out Monday…Whew!

Hahaha! Yeah, I've been going thru the same thing w/invites. I just couldn't find any of the easy to accomplish kind that I really like. And then the ones I loved were SO expensive because they are handmade. So I'm doing a nice compromise and using precut invitation paper & mats & pocketfolds. Anyway, I totally understand!

And Ann, don't worry! We sent out STD's in June or July for our March wedding. We also did our wedding channel.com website & sent e-STD's to everybody (ok, that sounds wrong LOL!). I don't think people will do anything about RSVPing too far out anyway.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
