Consider this a warning: vendors aren't allowed to spam, advertise, solicit, etc. We expect our vendors' work to speak for itself and do not tolerate advertisement without checking in with a moderator or the host first.

That's partly why this is such a great place- we keep our vendors in check :)

Make sure you read the vendor rules thread that was posted above. We do welcome vendors and value your opinions- but, no direct advertising or solicitation...

k heres what i dont get. hahaha. im so trying to learn this forum thing still. but if this is MY forum and i leave a message saying i have someones wedding date open in my forum how is that me spamming them? im doing my best here

This isn't YOUR forum, this is a forum for our members who are looking for information to help plan their wedding. When you say "just so you know, I still have your week open" you're putting the bride or groom in a tough position where they feel like they have to try to explain themselves to you. THEY DON'T!

As it states in the vendor rules:

you don't need to understand the rules to follow them but let me explain one more time. we have over 20 photographers registered on this forum...could you imagine if every time a new member says hi, i am getting married on xxx date and all the photogs responded to her that they were open, or she should use them how annoying that would be.

again, you do not have to agree to the rules, just follow them or NOT be a part of this forum.

im making an appology to all members and moderators. like ive said from the begining i am new to this forum thing and even though i read the rules i had no idea that the posts i was making was viewed as spaming. i got a little upset with this website over the lasat week because everyone on here was messaging me over and over and hating on me and i guess im clear now to why. i am going to leave even the slightest incling of me soliciting brides out just to be on the safe side. believe me. i have been trying to learn the ropes and i think i got it down.

anyways. happy new years and i intend to be a positive force in this forum

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
