Good luck Deb! Hope you have a wonderful wedding and a great time on your cruise!! I know... me too about the brides who are having to cancel their weddings. sad.gif My heart goes out to them.

Thank you Petunia!! I cannot believe it's almost here! I'll bring pics back. :)

AudreyLynn... I'm not getting married with Marriott but that's where I'll be staying. I'll try to snap some shots of the area for you! Also, we're having our dinner reception at the Havana Blue (but for a smaller number of guests.. 17). I'll come back with reviews with the food, service, size of rooms.. etc too.

Hey Ashley,

Sorry for the late reply. I have been on a mental hiatus from my wedding planning but I realize that I need to get back on it. I can't believe it's 6 month's away. We are cruising also but leaving out of Port Canaveral. I checked out your wedding website. It's really good. I'm going to steal a few things if you don't mind. I especially like your tips.

This is actually my second marriage. My first husband was a Marine. I guess you will be spending all of your anniversaries at the Marine Corp Ball...lol.

Let's stay in touch as things get closer. We have 61 people booked so I know I'm going to need someone to vent to trying to manage everyone...lol.

Hey Shake

What's ur wedding date?

Brian doesn't really do anything regarding the Marine Corp bc he's retired. Wow you have a big group, my goal is to make sure that everyone is booked by 5.31.09. So far we have 38 ppl booked but we are expecting about 42 ppl to go. We'll def stay in touch.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
