    Thanks for the reverse idea - I was thinking of sending out a reminder later and the invites now..

        You girls are great with all the suggestions! I might just send them out now and wait and see how things go... then decide later if I want to send formal invites with RSVPs depending on how many ppl book..

          Just make sure if you are booking with a tour group (such as Apple) that there are enough spots on the charter. I called during the second week of Nov and there were only 48 seats available on the charter. I had to put a deposit down to hold the rest of the plane. Yikes.

            My wedding is a couple weeks after yours & only 7 people have paid deposits. Many people are planning on it, but I think it's hard to get them to do it before the holidays. Most people i talk to have been meaning to for a while, but haven't gotten around to it. the ones who are booked are my family & I pretty much planned it all for them & they called & made a deposit. I thought we'd all be booked by now, but it's just not happening. I really don't care if it ends up being a small wedding so it's not bothering me at all.
