Hey girls! I am finalizing my SharedInk Photobook of the engagement pics taken by Juan Carlos Tapia during our site visit. We are going to give these photo albums to our parents for Christmas.

I have uploaded my pics to SharedInk and am getting ready to print, but I would like to get your opinions. I'm looking for feedback regarding pages, picture position, coloring, etc. Please be brutally honest- I reserve the right to accept or reject all suggestions!

To see my album at SharedInk, please PM me your email address and I'll send you an invitation. Thanks so much!

Here are some sample pages:

sarah, your book is FANTASTIC! it looks so beautiful.

juan's pics are GREAT!

a few things:

  • pg. 6 the broders are a little small-with the book crease and the cutting they may be even smaller..you may want to take this into account
  • pg. 9 same thing.
  • pg. 11-did you want this full-bleed? because that would be the obvious thing but i saw little itty bitty borders.

Hey Sarah,

I def want to check out the whole book (I should PM you) but I guess my only thought first off is that since this is a gift for your parents....perhaps you want to de-emphazise the laying-down-making-out photos?!? Don't get me wrong, they are super sexy and I really like them...but I am just thinking of the recepient?

I need to embark on my wedding photobook making....you are going to inspire me to get started!

Janet, I sent you an invite. We're thinking we might just use those pics in our book, and not the parents. I asked Jeff what he thought and he said "I think our parents would like to see us enjoying each other!". Hmmm....not sure about that once you put it that way! lol

Sarah,

what a gorgeous book thats going to be. I cant stop looking at your pictures. They are so buetiful. My favs are 5 and 32, but it was soooo hard to even pic a fav to begin with. They are all perfect. I didnt pick up on the technical stuff that Tammy did. But I do agree with Edyta, some sort of ending would tie the whole book together and add that perfect final touch.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
