I want to stay in one of those also because of the shutter style glass free windows even if the bathrooms arent as nice as the newer ones. Do you now if any of the Atriums have a beachview at all, ive heard conflicting stories.
Thanks for any info
My MOH had a beach view. The thing to keep in mind is that all of the rooms are angled. Only the beachfront rooms are on the beach, but you could see the ocean from pretty much every room that I was in, especially on the 3rd floor. (Atrium buildings are only 2 story)

Her room was 1107 I think? She did have a mini bar. I think they are in the process of converting everything over.

All of the patios have a sofa, table and at least one chair. There are hammocks tucked all over the property and along the beach.

I need to go through pics and post them for all of our CSA newbies!

CSA was wonderful! Because the grounds are so lush the first floor Atrium rooms won't have an ocean view- it's blocked by incredible trees and bushes and flowers! It also provides privacy on your terrace or balcony which is really nice! Some of the ones on the top floor may have a sliver of ocean view. The pic of the hammock is an atrium suite.

The Great House suites- I wasn't able to see the inside of one of those but the way that they are angled I would think that they'd have a great view of the ocean but I went down the hallway at night just to see if the noise was loud from the disco and in the hallway it was fairly loud and you could really feel the bass. You shouldn't have any road noise in these.

The ocean verandah suites will have a bit more of ocean as the foliage isn't as thick in the newer section and the buildings ar at a slight angle.

Beachfront suites have amazing views of the ocean and the sunset ( as long as there isn't a palm tree in front, but even then the view is fantastic! One thing with these rooms is they are not very private on the first floor as that is the main walkway between sections and for the beach! We shot some amazing photos of the reflection of the sunset on the patio doors!

Jennifer,

your review was very reassuring to me. We are having our Dec. 5th ceremony there and I was wondering if you could give me some detail on the Beach Party. After our 2 hour private cocktail party this is what we are doing for our reception with our guest appx. 45 of us. How was the food/choices? Also the show? Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
