Gran Bahia Principe Roll Call

You have one large centerpiece for the head table which matches your bouquet. You can purchase extra flower centerpieces, if not there are small white vases with birds of paradise on each table.

The free flowers on the tables for our guests were more than enough. We brought luggage tags with names as our place cards. We had lots of stuff to bring with us so I couldn't imagine bringing the centerpieces on top of everything else. If you were really set on the extra centerpieces, you could always find some stuff in Playa Del Carmen. But also remember you won't be at dinner for more than two hours so for us we didn't think it was worth buying the extra flowers. And you can't bring any of them home with you afterwards.

Thanks for the tips! I thought the same thing since we are going to rent the disco we would not be at dinner too long. We will have enough other things to bring down. I just saw on some other threads people posting centerpieces so I thought hmmm. But I like not having to!

Wow 3 more sleeps how exciting I wish ours was closer but I love being engaged and doing all this planning!!!

I had the centerpieces, but they were actually the decorations at the ceremony site, so they were duel purpose! I LOVED them! They were $40 a piece and just beautiful.

After the wedding I took one back to our room with us to enjoy it for the rest of the week... and the maid would take the roses off of it and decorate our room with the petals. It was beautiful every time we came home! :)

We are using one - I just thought if she's not responding to my email, she wouldn't respond to the TA's. It's just frustrating because we need to get a date set since a lot of our guests have jobs where it's difficult to take time off and need to request the date now.

Maybe I'll talk to me TA and see what she can do.

Yeah, I thought that too, but that's not the case. She'd pretty much ONLY respond to my TA... and partially because my TA would talk with whoever she needed to in order to get what I needed!

Which one is your wedding coordinator? I have Jazmin - while it DOES take her a while to respond, she always has. The only problem I've had is that sometimes I've had emails give me an error message and not go through. So it's possible that you may be having trouble with them going through. I would copy the main wedding email and the WC's email, and send it a couple times if you haven't had a response. Put your names in the headline and once you have a date include that too or they get confused. Maybe put "wedding inquiry" if you don't have a date yet?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
