Which resorts allow outside photographers?

I am getting married at the Fiesta Americana Condesa in Cancun. They do not charge a fee to bring in a photographer. Good luck to you!

I'm getting married at the Riu Ocho Rios in Jamaica. They (the on-site photographer) supposedly charges a fee ($200 - and you have to book him for your videography). If you don't pay it, I've heard that he tries to sabotage pictures.

 

I'm having a hard time with this fee, though - I can't bring myself to pay it - it seems like extortion - especially when it is not the Riu that is charging it. I don't have a contract with this guy, and I have not signed anything with the Riu saying that I won't use a separate photographer.

 

I think this may be an uphill battle though ... I'll probably just pay the $200 for peace of mind.

Normally I don't think the Riu chains charge extra for outside photogrphers. They are an all inclusive chain if that interests you.

DReams Tulum allow outside photographers!!! and videographers!! , you should ask Sandra becasue they know many photographers of the area and they have worked with most of them but she told we should let her know just to give them acces to the property!!! It was very important to me !! who is doing your pictures

I know I'm so happy Dreams Tulum allows outside photographers! One of the reasons why I chose them. I haven't decided on a photographer yet =) It's a hard decision! There afre many talented photographers out there.
