Quick question: For those of you that did the trial, do you have directions to her salonhuh.gif
I did a trial too then we had the Trash the DRess (not my wedding dress) since I had hair and make-up done already. For directions let the taxi driver know that it is the OFFICE DEPOT in EL BORDO because the driver might get confused and take you to Home Depot! According to Suzanne this has happened a few times so make sure to say El Bordo and the driver would know. Good Luck!

Just a note now that I'm back...I would totally suggest the trial run. I wrote about it in my review.

Also, I drove there and it was easy to find. Drive towards Cabo, turn right at the rodeo, left into Office Depot, turn left again and drive through the Office Depot parking lot and the salon is behind the store.

I was recently at a wedding where the bride used SM. The bride's hair looked great but some of the bridesmaids' hair was not good at all. In fact, one ended up with a gross hairspray helmet - she had to wash her hair and I ended up re-doing it for at the last minute! I think the issue is that SM herself is pretty good but others of her staff may not be as experienced. Just something to consider when you are thinking about how much you are spending. I will probably just do my own hair.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
