Hilton ??

Recommended Posts

Emeline at the Hilton is quoting $800 an hour for Mariachis (shouldn't they be cheaper in Mexico?). How much did you pay? Any contact info (name, phone, e-mail)?

Thanks,

Your wedding is so soon. You must have all of the planning done by now.

Did you do flowers thru Hilton / Mundo floral? I've been sent prices, but so far no one has made an effort to convince me that the flowers I will get will be a close replica to the pictures I sent.

What did you do about music? Are you getting married onsite?

Which terrace are you using? I think I'm on the dolphin terrace.

I'd love to see your pics after it's all said and done.

thanks,

I emailed Emiline at the Hilton reguarding some questions I had with my guest reservations. She got back to me within the hour! I thanked her for her quick responce and let her know that I was speading the word on the is board about how great she has been and how friendly she was when we met. She emailed back asking if she could have the name of this site....

I have mixed emotions about this....I kinda like being able to discuss vendors and what info we are being quoted with out them knowing exactly what we are saying!

I am totally fine with letting her know that this site is just for brides, if that's what you suggest! Let me know what you all think!

I dont but the weddi9ng coordinator at the Hilton is on vacation until Weds I think - I would email her and she will send them to you - she is generally very fast at getting back to me. I need to revisit this issue soon since we haven't given any thought to the food for the reception yet.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
