My invitations…. let me know what you think…

Recommended Posts

Thank you so much for the encouragement ladies!! I really means a lot. Youâ€re right I think itâ€s the pure quantity that is getting me down. I havenâ€t asked any of my sisters or BM to help because… well Iâ€m pretty picky… I know beggars cant be choosers, but I did my sisters baby shower invitations (like 60) and my Mom and sisters came over to help assemble them…. Well lets just say there were quite a few imperfections that would not have been there if I had done them myself. Now donâ€t get me wrong, mine are not perfect, but I am very aware of every mistake I can usually cover or incorporate it.

OK, Iâ€m going to get back on the ball. Thanks again for all of your kind words and encouragement. smile03.gif I think you guys are the only ones that really understand. thewave.gif

Davina, I think they look F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S!!!! cheer2.gif They don't look homemade at all! There is so much detail, and the colors look great. The pink and gold together is really chic. Great job....don't get discouraged....you have 20 down, and plenty of time to get the rest done. You will feel such great accomplishment when they are all mailed and done. Take a little break after every set of 20....before you know it they will be off your list. cheer2.gif

I think they look great! I can tell you from the experience I had making my invites that I thought they looked great when I did 1 or 2, but after looking at them and making 100 of them, I didn't tlike them as much in the end....I think it was just because I was sick of looking at them! Now I look back and love them again.

Your guests will love your invites and they will appreciate all the work you put into them. Don't second guess yourself! :)

They look great. The embossing is amazing, i like how you have two colors and it really looks like sand, very beachy. I don't think you should stress yourself out by thinking of staring over, these are perfect. Maybe you could do one step at a time, like doing all the embosing over one weekend and then all the punch outs the next. Good luck.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
