Can there be more than one

Recommended Posts

Ok I have two special women in my life who I would love to have by myside at my wedding.

Question is can you have more than one Matron of Honor? Since they have both been married. Or should I just remove the title and call them both brides maids?

Absolutely! Catherine, it's YOUR wedding so you should do what you want. I was just in a wedding a couple years ago where there were two Matrons of Honor. I thought it was really cool that the bride wanted to honor both of them that way. And I was in a wedding about 5 years ago where I was the MOH with another Maid of Honor. It was cool...Go for it!

cool because both of these women have been there for me day one of my 500 year relationship with Lawrence. I am going to put this poem in a card asking them to be my MOH

Will You Be My Matron of Honor?

You have always been there, more than just a friend.

You know just who I am and everywhere I've been.

You're the one who I can turn to, any hour of the day.

Seems, I only have to think of you and you'll be on your way.

No matter where life takes me, no matter where I roam.

When I'm with you my friend, my heart feels right at home.

So on my wedding day, I will need you more than ever.

Please be my matron of honor now.... and my friend forever.

This is what I am doing but it is a friend who is married not a sister. My sister and I were both MOH's for our friend.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
