This was our first pick as well!! It is my favorite song. But we finally decided there was no way that two poor dancers like ourselves could pull it off.

We finally, finally, finally decided yesterday on Forever by Ben Harper. It took a while as both of us are generally rock fans. Mike's first suggestion was "Stinkfist" by Tool- yah, right!!! Some others we considered were

Ben Folds - The Luckiest
I'll Back You Up - Dave Matthews Band
If Not for You - Bob Dylan
In My Life - Beatles
Harvest Moon - Pearl Jam's version

We will be doing "Here, there and everywhere" by the Beatles (well really by Paul McCartney). The melody is perferct and the words are perfect. It is one of those great songs that everyone forgets about....

I also wanted to do a Spanish song so we will also dance to "Delirio" by Luis Miguel. he does a lot of Mexican standards and I always wanted to have my wedding song by him.

Some runner up songs in case someone is looking for one:

Stardust, by Nat King Cole

I love you, by Nat King Cole

Like the way you love me, Brenton Woods

We are trying to decide between:

Making Memories Of Us by Keith Urban

YouTube - Keith Urban - Making Memories of Us

Every Day is my choice; its perfect for our relationship.

Every Day by Rascal Flats

YouTube - Everyday Rascal Flatts

My Best Friend By Tim McGraw

YouTube - Tim McGraw: My Best Friend

I Could Never Love You Enough - this one FH sent me the lyrics to very early in our relationship.. was so sweet coming from a normally unromantic man!

I Could Never Love You Enough by Brian McComas

- can't find it on youtube, but here are the lyrics:

I heard so many times

You've got to take love slow

That's just something said

But unsure people who don't know

What it's like to fall

When you fall with all your heart

Wanting to be together every second you're apart

Must not know what it feels like to feel like this

Longing for each moment

Waiting for each kiss

CHORUS

I could never love you enough

I could never hold you too tight

Never give too much of my heart

Never spend too many nights

With my arms just wrapped around you

And a million stars above

Baby, I still can't believe I found you

I could never love you

Never love you enough

Seems like the time we're given

Always goes too fast

Before I know it, with you girl

The future is the past

Second turn to hours

The hours turn to days

Seems like you're always leaving

When I'm wanting you to stay

'Cause I could spend the rest of my life with you mine

And still it'd only feel like a few seconds in time

CHORUS

I could never love you enough

I could never hold you too tight

Never give too much of my heart

Never spend too many nights

With my arms just wrapped around you

And a million stars above

Baby, I still can't believe I found you

I could never love you

Never love you enough

I could never love you enough

I could never hold you too tight

Never give too much of my heart

Never spend too many nights

With my arms just wrapped around you

Underneath a million stars above

Baby, I still can't believe I found you

I could never love you

Never love you enough

I could never love you enough

We danced to Iris from the Goo Goo Dolls. We took some private dance lessons and learned a modified version of the fox trot, but we forgot all of the steps while infront of our family and friends. The song was a good one to sway side-to-side to!

Our family/wedding party dance song was Into the Mystic by Van Morrison (it's the first dance song used in the American Pie Wedding movie). It's a great song too.

We are dancing to "When you love someone" the acustic version by Bryan Adams. It is perfect and am soooooo excited!

Im leaning towards "My Girl" for the father daughter dance!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
