I love Dyson!

So we got a dyson this weekend, the absolute animal. We actually got the floor model from macy's which they were selling for $200 (regularly $600).

 

Holy Cow!!! this is an amazing vacuume...I cannot believe how much my old vacuume was missing.

 

Even my carpet looks cleaner. I have to say even if we would have had to buy it for full price it would totally be worth it.

i have the same one and its amazing! but its pretty disgusting to acutally see how much dirt and hair is in your home!

I've been wanting one for a year, but no one I know has one. I wasn't sure if it was worth it...I think I might just get it now!

me too! i totally vacuum the whole house and leave the cat room for last so i can blame all of the dirt on them! i made fun of fi for getting it when we moved b/c we have hardwood floors throughout, but it works wonders regardless of your floor.

I bought my Dyson Animal about 4 years ago, and it still works amazingly well! Best vacuum ever, hands down! Love it! Leia if you're thinking about it, definitely get one. Its worth every penny!

So funny! Fi's vacuum broke down this week. The repair shop flat out told him it would be a waste of money to repair it ... said we should just buy a new one! We were just looking at them today. We're going to have 2 cats and a dog once we merge households!

 

So, they work on hardwood floors, too?

they have an all floor vacuume but the absolute animal one has a switch to turn off the brush so you can do hard floors. My kitchen and bathrooms are next, I will let you know how it goes, but if anyone is considering it, this is totally worth the money.

we don't have the animal one - i dont remember which model we have, but it's yellow...even tho it's not the animal, it still works on hardwood. i use the regular vacuum part and then go over the quarter-round w/ the hose...i vacuum the micro-fiber couches, i dust our bedroom furniture w/ it, etc...it's a tad heavy for me (i'm tiny), but i manage!

Shelley try Macy's and see if they are selling their floor models, I think some of the smaller stores are going to stop carrying them.
