Do the rocks have to be THE famous rocks or will any rocks do?

Also sounds like Finisterra is a great option!
Show's how much I know ... I didn't even know there WERE famous rocks!

Kashmira, Cain loves Pedregal beach because the rocks are (as he said) ones he can't climb on) and the infamous rock formation is just known for Cabo.. He want's waves crashing on the rocks in the pictures.. lol can you tell he loves the ocean? lol.. I think he'll be happy with either one, I'll let him decide where he want's the pictures to be taken, i'll show him pictures, but he can decide. :-)

Hmm a friend of mine just thought of something I didn't think about if we do wedding pictures on the beach both before and after the ceremony, do you think it will mess up the bottom of my dress for the ceremony? I mean if I stay out of the water I should be ok,,, Right?

I'm just guessing, but if the sand is not too wet and you stay out of the water it shouldn't be too much of a problem. If in doubt, take all your beach pics after the wedding!

Tammy,

Sorry I'm chiming in late also. It seems like you've got a pretty good solution already, but hopefully this info may help you out a bit more.

We stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Rose on Medano Beach prior to the wedding. It is 2 hotels down from Melia and on the same beach. We walked down and ate at Nikki Beach (at the Melia) and a little past it at Mango Deck. That is one of the busiest areas of Medano Beach, since there are a few more independent restaurants and all the jet ski/parasailing/etc rentals. I don't think it quiets down/empties out until sundown.

I took pics on the beach and my dress was a bit dirty on the bottom, but not bad enough that it was noticable. So as long as you don't get it wet, I think it should be fine.

Tammy- You are a saint. I mean really, I would probably would have thrown a major hissy fit by now, but girl you just keep searching that's awesome. This is exactly why i only give Kevin 4 options to choose from, all of which I already like. This way I still kind of get my way and he feels like he is helping.

Tammy,

I have the same problem, steve wants to do a lot of our pics before the ceremony so that we don't miss our cocktail hour and reception, but I'm worried about the bottom of my dress getting really beat up. But I guess if we stay on the dry sand that will just brush off easily, we'll just have to be careful not to go near the water and wet sand until afterwards!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
