I hate bras! That's the first thing I do every night- rip that thing off. I'm probably part hippie. Nonetheless, I think I'll have cups sewn in or I may go au natural. We shall see, but I think worrying about a bra peeking out would suck. Or tugging at it all night. That's just me though.

My dress is pretty thin so adding a bustier wasn't a problem b/c I don't have alot of material anyways. But I picked the corset whatever. I think I'd be fine without it I've worn strapless dresses before and it was fine but i wanted everything to be super smooth and I wanted something sexy under my dress. So I bought a satin bustier it sucks everything in and gives you a little more cleavage hahaha. I love the way it goes with my dress. But I say it's all personal choice.

oh gosh, i didn't even start thinking about this yet. i have no idea. i want to wear a bra to hold the little girls up, but i hate strapless bras, maybe i buy the the wrong size but they always slide dow. maybe i could go with a bustier. i guess you gotta try stuff on to find out.

I was pretty concerned about this too & thought I would wear something, or have cups sewn in. Once my dress came in & I took it for alterations, it became clear that I really didn't need anything. I think it was the structure of my dress (the bodice could stand on it's own!) and that fact that it was altered PERFECTLY in that area. I felt supported & secure and I'm a 36C/D. Bottom line - if you can get away w/o a bra, go for it. Wedding gowns are so much by themselves...I cannot imagine having to deal w/anything bra like under neath!

Depending on your cup size I'd say just have some cups sewn in if possible. I went and bra shopped for a while and found the perfect bra for my halter style dress... then I ended up not packing it and it drove me nuts in the 20 minutes before my wedding (panic mode is not fun) but really, I didn't need it in the end. Point of my rambling... If you can do without it in a dress that holds you in, don't stress yourself over it.

Good luck!

I am wearing one, but am worried about the one that I have, b/c you can see the boning through my dress (the dress material is very light). The bra I have is a "seamless" longline, but has the boning on the underside.

I need a longline bra that sucks me in and pushes my "little ladies" up without giving my the underarm pooches.

Any suggestions? I''ve heard the "Flattering Me" line rocks, and they have them at 2 local bridal salons, so I may have to try them ... but funds are running low and by the time $$ comes in, it will be time for my first fitting! aarrgghh!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
