That may be my only workable option.

I would love to do the Beach BBQ but you need a min of 45 people (well at least pay for 45 ppl) same with buffett. Looks like we are only going to have 30 people.
You are sure that your vegetarian would eat lobster? Many true vegetarians do not eat seafood. I am in the same situation. But I have at least two Vegans coming. They will not eat any animals or animal by products (cheese, milk, etc). Please let me know if the hotel agrees to at least fix a special plate for your vegetarian.

My vegetarian does eat seafood which is good for me but i'll have to check to make sure she eats lobster. When I talk to the wc about it i'll let you know what she says but i'm going to wait till I talk to all of my guests to see if they all will eat lobster or if there are any other dietary restrictions i have to worry about! There's always something I have to worry about!!! Never ending.

Each resort has different pricing options. Some charge per person. Others just make you pay one lump sump to rent out the restaurant (and have a private/closed reception not available to the public/the rest of the resort-goers) and this will include all food and beverages. We are going with the latter.

Hi! I am deciding between PPC and PPR for my wedding next year. Where are you having your private reception? Event locations are my deciding factors as to which resort I will choose...

Morgan the PPR has a lot of different places for a private reception. I'm having mine on one of the beaches (there are two to choose from). But there is also an outside terrace by the pool and a prive club off the beach (it's open no windows very pretty). Than there are places inside the resort to have it. Have you seen any pics? I'll pm you the link to some pics.

Iberostar Punta Cana.
Most of the resorts will customize the wedding for you with a private reception if you ask. We have a large group of about 150 guests so that is why we don't want to share our dinner with resort-goers. Plus we have a band and dj as well.

Ask your WC. He/she should be able to give you more details. elefant.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
